Position Details:
- Role: Digital Learning and Innovation Specialist
- Duration: 24 months
- Duty Station: Trincomalee, with occasional travel to Colombo in Year 2
- Start Date: 1 February 2025
- Category: National UN Volunteer Specialist
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in technology, education, business administration, management, or related fields.
- Strong background in education, computer science, or EdTech, with excellent command of English.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of professional work in education with digital solutions.
- Expertise in integrating technology in the learning process (ICT knowledge is a plus).
- Proven track record working with government counterparts in Sri Lanka.
- Skills:
- Analytical capabilities to turn insights into action.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and collaborative teamwork abilities.
Languages:
- English: Fluent (Required)
- Sinhala: Fluent (Desirable)
- Tamil: Fluent (Desirable)
Entitlements:
💸 Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance: LKR 166,368.41
💼 Entry Lump Sum: USD 400
🏖 Annual Leave: 2.5 days/month
👨👩👦 Family Benefits: Medical and life insurance (100% covered for 3 dependents).
👶 Maternity Leave: 16 weeks | Paternity Leave: 10 days
